19th C. Engish GEORGIAN Sterling Silver Embossed Compote, c. 1827

This listing is for a lovely early 19th Century English Sterling Silver compote, c. 1827. This elaborate compote has a nicely embossed and reticulated design with bouquets of flowers surrounding the outside border with elaborately engraved crest/armorial in center. This STUNNING silver compote is marked with English hallmarks for London, Sterling, date letter for 1827 and maker's stamp for Thomas Wallis.
Measures 7 1/2" in diameter and stands 3" high. Weighs 334 grams (not weighted).
This fabulous silver compote is in excellent Estate condition with no dents or dings with only some very minor no-harm surface blemishes on bowl's interior (see photos).
Please note that we have two of these matching compotes although they are listed separately.
