    Description

    A Rare set of 2 Solid Sterling Silver Covered Entree Server Dishes made by Gorham. These are more than special. They come from the Miami Estate of John Paul Getty and were handed down in the family. Do your research and you will see that Sterling Entree dishes are expensive let alone two and let alone from the Famous Getty Estate. It's not uncommon to see a pair being offered for 00-00 and up. Even with the Getty attribution I am selling these for less than others would sell the least expensive here on ebay. I like to sell wholesale to other dealers and I move my items. I don't want them sitting around. These are large heavy solid Sterling silver examples. Each one measures 10 12/" long and has a pair of handles on each. They look to be of Chantilly design. Together they weigh an astounding 57.21 standard ounces of Sterling Silver. Gorham Company marks, sterling and factory numbers. They are in Fine condition with no dents or issues. Also each one has the Famed Getty Monogram on the top. Appraised between 00-00 I am offering for a bargain price. Check out my "Sellers Other Items Page" for more pieces added weekly.
