  • Condition: Very good antique used condition with no distracting dings or dents. It does have one small, shallow dent/ding just below the engraving in the middle of the tray and it does have light surface scratches from use, polishing and storage and there are a few areas where the scratches are a bit more prominent. There is no wobble when it sits on a flat surface. I have lightly polished this piece but it could use a more thorough polishing. Please see all pictures for details.

    Description

    This listing is for an antique sterling silver footed salver tray made in London, England by Maxflield & Sons, 1896.  It is 10 1/4" in diameter, 7/8" tall and total weight is 17.63 troy ounces (548.4 grams).  There is a two letter monogram in the middle of very ornate engraving (EW).
    Very good antique used condition with no distracting dings or dents.  It does have one small, shallow dent/ding just below the engraving in the middle of the tray and it does have light surface scratches from use, polishing and storage and there are a few areas where the scratches are a bit more prominent.  There is no wobble when it sits on a flat surface.  I have lightly polished this piece but it could use a more thorough polishing.   Please see all pictures for details.
