  • Condition: Very good antique used condition with no distracting dings or dents. It has one small pinhead sized ding out towards the edge at 4 o'clock (oriented to the engraving) and surface scratches from use, polishing and storage. It may benefit from a professional buffing/polishing by a silversmith to get it back to it's original state. There is no wobble when it sits on a flat surface. I have lightly polished this piece but it could use a more thorough polishing. Please see all pictures for details.

    Description

    This listing is for an antique sterling silver footed salver tray made in London, England by Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co. Ltd. in 1902.  It is 12 1/4" in diameter, 1" tall and total weight is 25.33 troy ounces (788.1 grams).  There is a very nice Coat of Arms engraving in the middle and the Latin words Suaviter Sed Fortiter which means "gently & firmly".
