panese silver, circa 1940.  Pretty basket or bowl with a knotted handle.
It measures 3 1/2" high to the top of the handle and is 5 1/2" across.  The basket is in excellent vintage condition with just a few light scratches consistent with age.  There are no monograms.  Since this is a vintage piece, it could also use a little polis
