Description
Small metal badge with a stud mount, presumably meant to wear through a button hole or similar, for an Odd Fellows meeting in Manitoba, Canada. Presumably held in Winnipeg, almost certainly also a general regional meeting for the Province rather than a specific lodge.
Approx. 1", gilt or gold washed, the use of the sheaf of Wheat as a symbol is natural given Manitoba's historical agricultural nature as part of the Canadian "breadbasket". Probably late 19th Century, a more unusual piece and the first such type I can remember seeing.
