Dylan Days was celebrated every year from 2002 through 2014 in Hibbing, Minnesota- mostly at Zimmy’s the primary location of the festivities. This pin features an image of Bob Dylan and the Golden Chords band. Mr. LeRoy Hoikkala, our friend & Golden Chords drummer passed this year but was so proud to talk about this period in his life. We know he & Monte Edwardson are at Heavens Door together right now. Ready to play music together maybe with John Prine & Little Richard. Truly amazing. The second pin is of BJ... as he was known to his friends, Bob Dylan’s Hibbing High School English teacher. A beautiful scholar, wise & humorous. To know him was to love him. These pins seem fit it go together.
