    Description

    Excellent late 1800s Tiffany & Co Sterling Silver Floral Peony Footed Tray
    Presented is a fantastic quality old Tiffany & Co sterling silver tray,
    dating to 1873-1891. The tray is beautifully hand chased with an ornate floral
    motif, what may be peonies in the style of Chinese embroidery or a similar
    flower. The tray stands on four claw feet, nicely detailed and cast. The center
    has a monogram of RRH.
    This piece is in excellent overall condition. There is only the most minor of
    surface wear here and there, nothing of any significance. There are no splits,
    no dents, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
    This piece is stamped with the Tiffany & Co maker's mark, sterling, and
    the initial 'm' for the director of the company between 1873-1891, Edward Moore.
    The tray measures about 8 1/8 inches square and stands about 7/8 of an inch
    tall.
    The tray weighs 510 grams or 18 regular ounces.
