GORHAM Bird Iris MIXED Metals 1883 TRAY Copper APPLIED Sterling Silver AESTHETIC

Description

Antique Gorham 1883 mixed metals copper & applied sterling silver tray, in an Aesthetic Japanese style featuring birds & Iris, which is NOT monogrammed. The tray measures approximately 9 3/4 by 7 1/4 inches wide, 1/2 inch tall,  weighs 1 lb., & is marked on the bottom with an anchor Gorham & Co. B73 & P (holloware mark for 1883)
The tray is in antique estate condition as follows;
THERE IS SCRATCHING, DENTS ALONG THE RIM EDGES WITH A LARGER ONE AT THE BOTTOM WHEN DISPLAYED UPRIGHT, OLD TAPE REMAINS ON THE BACK & WEAR CONSISTENT WITH THE AGE OF THE PIECE. THE PIECE HAS NOT BEEN POLISHED. THERE IS GLARE &REFLECTION IN  THE 12 PHOTOS.
