  • Condition: Very good condition for age with no distracting dings or dents. There are a few of very small, shallow dents/dings on both the top and the bottom. Nothing that would show up in pictures though. There are light surface scratches from use, storage and polishing and while I have lightly polished the pieces, they could all use a more thorough polishing. The lid does not sit perfectly flush on the bottom piece.

    Description

    This listing is for a very nice Chippendale style sterling silver covered serving dish made by International Silver.  The piece was made in the first half of the 20th century, and the pattern number is C4065.   Outer dimensions are 10 3/4" x  9 1/2" x 3 1/4" tall not including the handled.  The inner dimensions are 9" x 6 3/4".    It is made of heavy gauge silver weighing 30.03 troy ounces.  It has a single letter engraving on the lid which looks like an "F".
