  • Condition: It is in good condition for its years. There is a small chip on the base of the bottom bowl and another small chip on the rim of the bowl. Also a segment of the underside lid rim has been removed. This was a common practice in the Victorian era, for reasons that are poorly understood by us. See photos. These defects are essentially invisible unless you look for them Otherwise, no chips or cracks. Gold trim shows noticeable wear, particularly around the center opening on the lid.
