RS Prussia Mold OM140 "Tillie" Peasant Girl Portrait Cake Plate
Selling here at tonight's auction, a scarce RS Prussia mold OM140 "Tillie" peasant girl (aka Italian Head) 11 3/4" gold handled cake plate, in excellent condition. No chips or cracks. The cake plate is stamp marked on the bottom, with the early gold steeple mark. The shell form rim is decorated with white flowers and gold stenciling. A beautiful large transfer of Tillie completes the large cake plate. A double border of gold stenciling surrounds the portrait.
