International Silver Co. sterling silver Sheraton style long cocktail tray. It has rectangle form body with cut corners and two figural Onslow design handles. Border is decorated with two repousse baskets of flowers as well as engraved and chased patterns, featuring elegant foliate, scroll and floral motifs. Marked "2669 1/2 C" and "24 IN". c. 1930-1940.
This stunning tray is 24 1/2" long, 10" wide and weighs 1,885 grams or 60.8 ozs Troy. Usable area measures 19" x 7 1/2".
The soft, warm, original finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing.
The excellent original condition and clear, crisp detail, with no monograms, removals, repairs or alterations, make this an especially attractive offering.
