    Description

    Sterling Silver Posy Holder/Nosegay
This a sterling silver nosegay or posy holder or tussie mussie that was made in the USA.  The nosegay is approximately seven inches long and has a needle or pin on a chain that can be pushed through the bouquet of flowers to hold them in place.  The nosegay has no monogram nor inscriptions engraved on it and it has not been buffed.  The decorative motif is straight forward and rather plain.  It almost looks like an all silver school bell.
The stamping/hallmarking on the tussie mussie is simply the word "STERLING" that is stamped on the handle.  There no other marks or stamping.  Since most tussies were almost never marked and this one is marked sterling, I did have it tested to confirm that it is indeed sterling and it
    does
test sterling.  It would make a great bouquet holder for the "something old" that a bride would carry at the wedding.
It is in nicely used vintage condition with some minor dents on the handle that do no affect it's use, a little polishing would not hurt.
Winning bidder does pay shipping costs and ebay sales tax if appropriate.  If not being shipped to a US address, please check about shipping cost before bidding.  Happy to combine shipping costs.
