Vintage Sterling Silver Red Platter

Vintage Sterling Silver Edged Platter
is uniquely different with a very neat pattern added to the glass.  Quite different from anything I have ever seen with a metal edging.  Quite the hard piece to come by I am told.  I could not determine the pattern but it is very intricate and detailed.  The base color is a bright Red.  Reads Sterling right in the center of the reverse.  Looks like someone tried at one time to remove some of the silver from the back but were unsuccessful.  Front shows fine.  Platter is 100% useful.  Measurements are in photo 2.  Questions, please ask.  Thank you.
